Jobs with High Desert River Outfitters
We are looking for people who are fun, safety conscious, team oriented, hard working, responsible, personable, and ready for challenges to add to our team. Our company has been growing and is owned by Tributary Whitewater Tours as of 2021.
Tributary holds more unique river permits than any other whitewater rafting outfitter in the Northwest. Operating on rivers in California as raftcalifornia.com and Oregon raftoregon.com, working for us doesn’t mean you will be stuck on the same river trip all summer long.
No other company can offer this many amazing rivers to run and places to stay.

Oregon Operations
In the spring, trips on the on the Wild N Scenic Owyhee River, and in the summer, half day, full day and 3 day wilderness trips on the Deschutes River. These trips, and sometimes Upper Klamath and Lower Klamath Trips are supported by our outpost in Maupin, OR.

California Operations
Our staff are lucky enough to experience trips on the North Yuba, Truckee, Kaweah, East Carson and more!
Our primary location is on the South Fork American River in Lotus, CA and our private campground is one of the best places on the river! We also have an outpost located at the Truckee River RV park for our Truckee River operations, and are expanding our Northern California presence with locations on the Trinity River, as well as a private property/put in location on the Lower Klamath River!
