Following OHA recommendations, we are NOT mixing groups of guests unless they are from the same household or within the same “social bubble”. What does that mean? It means you bring your own group and get your own private raft(s). It also means we cannot take a group smaller than 4 people so please plan accordingly.
Social Distancing in Vehicles
Your group will travel to the river together and will not be mixed with any other groups.
This year we ask that you have your payment made and waivers filled out the day before you arrive to prevent big crowds in our office. If you need to come in to buy retail items or photos after your trip, we ask that you wear a mask and distance yourself 6 feet from others. We have a hand sanitizing station you need to use before you enter the building and we will limit capacity to 10 guests at a time inside. Please distance yourself in our driveway from others as we prepare for your departure.
The staff at HDRO will wear masks during the work day. Guides are required to wear them in the van and have them on their trip. They will use discretion on the river, as we do not want masks to be a safety hazard. Our guest will need to use masks inside our office but it is their choice to use on the river. It’s not required out there. On overnight trip guides will use masks and gloves when preparing all meals.
All meals will be cooked and/or prepared by guides wearing masks and gloves. Meals cannot be served buffet style this year. Guides will plate your meal for you. Feel free to let them know how you like your items prepared and they will do their best to accommodate you.
We will have a hand wash station set up at camp for use at all times along with hand sanitizer available for guest use.
Your group will be responsible for social distancing within your own group if it’s appropriate - up to you. Our guides will do their best to maintain 6 feet from your group as best they can on this trip.
