Day Trips: *This includes both half days and full days
Following OHA recommendations, we are NOT mixing groups of guests unless they are from the same household or within the same “social bubble”. What does that mean? It means you bring your own group and get your own private raft(s). It also means we cannot take a group smaller than 4 people so please plan accordingly.
Social Distancing in Vehicles
HDRO will also be putting one group in each van and potentially two groups (max) in our buses… with social distancing in place. One group up front, one in the back. Drivers will be required to wear masks at all times.
This year we ask that you have your payment made and waivers filled out the day before you arrive to prevent big crowds in our office. If you need to come in to buy retail items or photos after your trip, we require that you wear a mask and distance yourself 6 feet from others. We have a hand sanitizing station you need to use before entering the building, and we will limit capacity to 10 guests at a time inside. Please distance yourself in our driveway from others as we prepare for your departure.
The staff at HDRO will wear masks during the work day. Guides are required to wear them in the van and have them on their trip. They will use discretion on the river, as we do not want masks to be a safety hazard. Our guests will need to use masks inside our office but it is their choice to use on the river. It’s not required out there.
Due to safety regulations this summer, HDRO will not be able to serve buffet style lunches. All full day trips are required to pack your own lunch. You will put it in our coolers or yours and we will deliver it to you, riverside, during your lunch break. The price remains the same, as we did not implement a planned price increase in order to offset this lost amenity. We’re hoping to be back to delicious BBQ lunches next season.
Boats, paddles, life jackets and vehicles will be cleaned and sanitized after each trip. Bathrooms will be sanitized twice a day, per OHA regulations and our photo tablets and office counter will be cleaned regularly.
